An album of thirty colour woodblock-printed spreads produced for calligraphy enthusiasts, who could write in brush and ink directly onto the pages or ask others to do so. Two of the double-pages in this album have been filled with such examples.
Original album binding in boards, slightly stained and soiled, extremities bumped. Occasional internal marks and scratches, fading to gutter. Calligraphy to first non-woodblock-printed double-page. Small wormholes to lower free endpaper gutter. 34 x 25 cm.
