A highly illustrated translation by celebrated author Kikuchi Kan (1888-1948) of Homer's Iliad and Odyssey. Two colour illustrated plates, one by Honda Shōtarō of Achilles and another by Unno Seikō of a siren, and numerous full-page monochrome illustrations by Honda and Asano Kaoru furnish the book. Volume thirty of the Shōgakusei Zenshū series.

 

One volume, complete. Original wrappers, worn and soiled, extremities bumped and chipped. Occasional internal foxing and marks. Sticker removal to lower pastedown. [2] illustrated p., [7], 226 p., [6] p. of ads. 22 x 14.8 cm.
