An entertaining kibyōshi centred on Daikokuten, the god of wealth, and a cast of anthropomorphised cats and mice. The story follows Daikokuten as he entrusts money to a mouse for safekeeping, only for it to disappear after the intervention of a cat. The author's name, Akagi Sankanojo, sounds feminine, but it is unclear whether the author was a woman. The illustrations are by Katsushika Hokutai, a pupil of Katsushika Hokusai. 

Three parts in one four-hole-bound (yotsumetoji) volume, complete, on double leaves, traditional East Asian binding style (fukurotoji). Re-bound in non-original wrappers, title in manuscript to upper. A few small wormholes through wrappers and leaves. Several illustrations lightly hand coloured. Minor repair to last leaf. A few small marks internally. All leaves mounted on washi paper. 15 leaves. 17.5 ｘ 12.6 cm.
